Well, you and your co-workers can form better picket lines to prevent the scabs from going on the job. Also, work with your labor union to ensure that your union has a monopoly on labor in that industry.
If worse comes to worse, you can always beat the scabs up and intimidate them out of town.

Use a thick coating of Hydrocortidone cream on them and don't touch them for as long as possible. This will soften them up in no time, heal the skin underneath and they will fall off easily and not leave too much of a scar. I use this method on my face and arms all the time!

scabs are the bodys way of protecting itself while it is healing. if you take them off you take a chance on getting an infection and possibly a scar. be patient. they will come off themselves. just keep them clean and dry.

Vitamin E - get the softgel vitamin Es, pop one and put the liquid on your scab/s, it will help them heal more quickly.

yea. if you peel them off or scratch them they leave even nastier looking marks. just leave them alone. your skin may heal on its own and leave no or lighter mark. If you take the scab off, you might get an infection that might require the removal or arm, finger, toe or foot. it's the way skin heals. if you leave it alone, you will be thankful later.
