Well...ummmm.... seeing as i dont own a heaven or hell to put anyone in.... i really couldnt say if i would deny him heaven or not !!!!! But since i kinda get what you were really trying to ask let me say this.... God is the Creator of Heaven and Earth...because God created it...God has the right to say who shall enter and who shouldnt... Kinda like how parents would tell their children "if your gonna live in my house, you have to abide by my rules"... and God's rules are summed up in these scriptures... "Love God with all your heart, Mind and strength...and love your neighbor as yourself... and... Accept the "Free" gift of salvation God offers through his Son Jesus Christ...( John 3:16)... You see no matter how many good deeds you do... the only way to get into heaven is through acknowledging that you need God...and then abiding by his word.....there is no other door... no shortcuts....no exceptions...
so unless Jonah Salk accepted God in his life....im sorry to say that..Jonah salk denied himself heaven...

p.s "Hope" I saw ur little comment at the top of the page referring to my nickname... But i chose that name specifically for people like you, because in reality who needs a word to the wise, when its the simple ones who need it the most...? with that said it shouldn't be so much a mystery why I bothered answering your question is it? "Think About It"

A lot of people don't understand how exactly it is that a person gets to heaven. They think that by "being nice" or doing good works they will get there. The truth is, no one can get to heaven simply through doing good deeds (such as by creating a polio vaccine, to use your example). To get to heaven after you die, you first need to be a Christian, which means having accepted Jesus into your heart, believing that He is Lord, and striving to follow Him and live your life to glorify Him. I don't know if Jonah Salk believed this personally as a Jew, although there is a division of Judaism (called the Messianic Jews) who do believe that Jesus came to earth and died for their sins. I believe that those Jews will get to heaven because they believe, but who knows if Salk was one of them. It really all comes down to what he believed in his heart, and only God can know that for sure.

I can't not deny him anything. I am not the one who will judge him. Only God will judge. I as a human would say he deserves heaven for his works but only God can read his heart and will be the one who decides his fate. Heaven or hell. And why would a murderer be denied heaven if he woke up a family and saved them from a fire in their home perhaps ran in and saved a child. Would the murder he committed be wiped out with the one work. That is why it is not left up to us decide God is the ultimate decision maker.

If heaven was all the ritious Christians....and no one else, it would be a very boring place to spend eternity so I sure hope Jonah and lots of diversity is there.

God made a covenant with Abraham and He has kept it right to this day. The Jews play an important role in God's plan and I would never guess what that entails

Fundamentalists would, yes. For Fundamentalists, Jews today are good for one thing, and one thing only: building the Third Temple so Jesus can come back. However, most Catholics are much nicer toward Jews than Christians historically have been.

Why deny him heaven, as hes Jewish he will goto jewish heaven. You assume that the christian heaven is the right one. Its all possible that the christian heaven is wrong.

No, he saved many lives! If he lived a godly life then there is no reason to deny him heaven!

That is up for God to judge. but if God asked me to judge I would say that the road to heaven is paved by good works and the easing of suffering. this man did that.
