I just went thru that this year, I dated her most of the year, and when I finally am able to get the words, "I love you" out of my mouth, she didn't reciprocate. Infact She then began being cold towards me, and making up excuses for things she had to do by her self.
I was suddenly in the way, and I was the sweetest nicest man she had ever known, and I can't say that I never lied to her, But I know that I tried daily, to be sure that I was being truthful to her, and now realize that all I did for her was in love.
Well she doesen't love me and had shunned me for more than a month now so , I say I am heartbroken, and single again.

I am still kind of touchy, grumpy about it, no fault of anyone here.
So forgive me if I give sarcastic replies.

Yes. It was very painful for quite some time. I could not tell her how much I felt for her because I needed to know from her heart what she felt. She would sign gifts with “Love…,” but I knew her love was not deep like mine and I had to move on consciously to a new hope and trust in God. Today, she is a dear friend, and I see her once in awhile, but she doesn’t know what she missed out on.
Now, a new horizon is starting to appear, and it is hopeful. Life goes on.

Very tough. You are best to move on from that person, find a new hobby or friend to occupy you until this passes. Maybe start a workout routine to help burn off energy...I won't lie, it won't be easy...you will be sad...BUT there is light at the end of this tunnel and you will survive it. Find someone who appreciates YOU. God Bless!

I do right now. It really hurts and I really hate it. I am trying to forget about him by keeping busy but it really isn't working. Everytime he comes into my mind I try to push the thought away and think of anything else. (I am not doing a very good job)

They say time heals everything so I guess I can just wait for time to take this away too.

If I think of anything better I will let you know.

I don't believe you have really lived until this has happened. I believe this has happened at least once to everyone. Or at least one time in life they thought they loved someone, that didn't love them back. You , like all things in life, get over it and move on to find that someone who loves you back.
