You can wrap the washed potatoes in foil and bake at 350 degrees with a little water in the pan they are in for I have no clue how long until they are done or.... I usually wet a paper towel and wrap my washed potatoe in that and in siran wrap and put in the microwave 2 mintues at a time until done. The wet towel keeps it moist. Or some people pokes holes in the tator and puts it into a brown paper bag roll the top over and microwaves it 2 mintues at a time until done. I have done all these ways and they work fine. good seasoning on Baked Potato as something differnent is I think by McCormik I think but it's called Salad Supreme yummy good on burgers too.

Making baked potatoes is really easy. Especially in the microwave. Just wash the potato in the sink and cut out all of the black spots and then poke it a couple times with a fork and put it in the microwave on a plate for a couple of minutes until it is soft enough to eat.

wash it first
place it on a microwave-safe plate
make a hole in it by stabbing it with a sharp tined fork or a sharp knife
6 or 7 minutes might be enough
stop the microwave half-way through the cooking time and turn the potato over
let the potato sit untouched in the microwave for a couple of minutes after the time ends
before you cut it open, stab it with a fork to see if it's soft instead of hard. if it's still partly hard, give it 2 more minutes

microwave is quick and easy, BUT not the best. bake them in the oven for like an hour. FIrst pierce it with a fork a bunch of times. Then run the whole outside with REAL butter. Roast/bake for an hour or so. The outside skin gets crispy and buttery, and really good imo. I think 450F degrees. The butter is the key IMO. Or I think, maybe you wrap in foil, and take the foil off the last 15 minutes or something.

Make sure you stick a fork in it several times before microwaving so that it does not explode, since steam builds up.
A large potato takes about 5 or 6 minutes.
When it is soft when you stick a fork in it, take it out.
Slit it open, drop in gobs of butter, salt, pepper, shredded cheddar, sour cream, top with chopped up green onions.
Now I am hungry.
If you want you can scoop out the inside of the potato, beat it up with lots if canned milk and butter, salt and pepper. Put it back into the potato skin, top with cheddar and paprika and stick it back in the microwave to melt the Cheddar and then top with green onion. That is called a twice baked potato.
