No. In fact, that's the best way to ingest Vitamin C, or most any other vitamin's. The less chemical reaction, the better. Don't think the ice helps, or hurtrs, in any way.

think of it this way-you usually take a drink of something after swallowing a pill or any other type of medication. so putting it IN the water is just skipping the step of having to drink something afterwards.

water is harmless-it doesn't contain anything that is harmful to the body and it won't jeopordize the integrity of the pill.

no, the only side effect that comes from vitamin c is if you injest a whole lot it will give you diarrea.
