FRAZIER PARK! It's actually very foresty.. I've heard good things about it, and it's only 30 or 40 minutes away. I think it's past six flags, coming from the south (burbank). I've also heard things about the Angeles National Forest, also very close, but I've never been. Actually, do you know where it snows? Look on a map at glendale/burbank/sunland, and you will see this big expanse of mountainous area where there are snowy places to go. There's a lot. Just take a look at the map , like on mapquest, and you'll notice what I'm talking about. good luck!
