is this normal?

yesterday morning I had a really bad migrane and I threw up big time. is there any ideas why?

yes go see your doctor. Migraines are more psychological than physical sickness.

First of all a migraine is not normal. Common yes, but not normal. Nausea and vomiting from it is a normal side effect of a migraine. If you have never had one before you can wait to go to the Dr. However if you start getting them often, or have had them before go see a Dr. There are a lot of good medications out there for the treatment of migraines.

it is common to have nausea or vomiting with a migraine. this is your body's way of helping to relieve the pressure that has built up inside your head due to the migraine.

if you are getting these headaches often-you need to talk to your dr about getting put on medication for them.

i get migraines twice a month and take medication for it. it helps alot.

there are two types of medications:

-one you take everyday to help prevent the headache from forming ( u should take this if you get them often)

-one you take when you start to get the headache. it will treat the symptoms and make the headache stop.

i take the one for when the headache starts b/c i don't get them that often. it does help alot but it also makes me sleepy, which i think helps b/c alot of times-these headaches last all day long-even into the next day. if i take the medicine then sleep, i find the headache is totally gone when i wake up.

yes it's normal...i just started havin migranes i think do to weather and i vomit too....gosee doc and get some medications
