What can I put on my hair to protect it from the sun? (I don't want to dye my hair. I don't do that anymore.) How can I help my hair retain its natural shade?
I recently got a haircut that chopped off the hair that was lightened by the sun. My hair looks darker now, and I love it.
I already use Brilliant Brunette shampoo/conditioner. But I'm looking for something like sunscreen/protectant. Thank you for your help!!

Look for a spray-on leave-in conditioner with sunscreen. They're around. If you can't find one in the drugstore, you can definitely find one in a salon. I don't know precisely which offhand, but some Redkin products have sunscreen. They make a line of products for brunettes, too. Redkin products saved my sun, heat, and color-damaged hair!

well there is not alot that u can put on there to keep the sun from geting to it and not coloring it but u can use some conditner and that will help some no a hole lot i dont know of anything else that will help now i know that if u have highlights that u can put conditner on there to keep it from making it green in the pool that is alot of it to seal off the hair

get uv spray for your hair. bed bath and beyond has some. it protects your hair from the sunlight uv rays that dry and damage your hair.
