.018 on the points and .025 on the plugs , did my 9n this weekend. All the front mount distributers are the same. If its starting to use a little oil use the autolite 437 plugs , they are one heat range hotter than stock .

The old timers always used a matchbook cover. So have I and it works great and have had no problems with any of my 3 tractors which are all set this way...If really in need of specs give this website a try, lotsa good information here...

I told a guy once to use a thin dime to gap his. He called back later to say he still couldn't get it right. He didn't have a dime, so he used 2 nickels.
