Tell your parents that its unfair. If he has been a problem ask them to get you a kennel for him and a puppy training book so that you can raise him properly.....
I am sorry babe, I could never do that to my kids.

Hey I have had the exact same thing when I got my puppy Snoop this summer, he was a beautiful Pitbull and was soo smart I got to keep him about 3 1/2 months and then my parents just said they were selling him to someone I didnt even know in Hibbing. I cried foreeeeeeever. I took pictures and everything and bought him with my OWN money he had a kennel and was pretty much potty trained at 2 months, he never bit or barked or anything and he knew his name soo well.
My mom was so mean the only reason she sold him was because of the kind of dog he was. Its unfair for kids to have their dogs taken away. Im just a kid myself (15) but I hate seeing stuff like this happen to other kids. It breaks my heart!
There should be no reason for her to sell your dog!
I have a new puppy now named Ava and shes a pitbull too and this time my mom cant take her cuz I now live with my grandmother and she loves Ava soo much.
If you can go on the internet and get as much information on your breed and show your mom all the positive things and tell her you'll be the one responsible for your dog. Its not fair!
It was just Christmas how can she do that to you?
Best of luck hun! I hope you can keep your dog! Your parents shouldnt be doing this to you =[
try anything you can to show your parents how good your dog is also k?

quite simply dont get another pet until you are old enough to provide a FOREVER home
whoever got the dog in the first place acted irresponsibly because they accepted a LIFETIME commitment and are not standing by it
perhaps you needed to give us more info - how did you get the puppy?? and why??
PARENTS are the only ones who should be accepting this kind of responsibilty since it is their house and they will be the ones financially responsible...
how can you make your parents want him?? you cannot.. it is not fair to do this to them.. or to the puppy - if you love him let him go to a home where he is wanted
and start saving your money now so you can buy your self a house later...

How about trying to convince your parents of the responsibilities having this puppy will teach you? Maybe if you can convince them to give you a chance to prove you are responsible to take care of the puppy without them "hounding" you, you can keep the dog. But make sure you follow through because it gives them the right to give away the puppy if you don't keep your word.

Sit down with them calmly with all your reasons why you should get to keep him. Make a plan, including your role in how you will help make it work. Suggest a trial period of another month. If you don't hold up your end of the bargain, then the friend can come take him. If you love him that much, you will keep your promise!

Show your parents this page, this will show them how much you really love and care for your dog, and hopefully they will come to understand how much your puppy really means to you.

Reason with your family, and show them the good parts of your dog. Tell them to point out all the bad parts of your dog so you can hopefully change his/her habits/annoying thing.

Sad.
I know how you feel, but my situation's completely opposite. I'm the one leaving, and I'm leaving my fuzzy little black buddy behind (he's not actually mine, but I like to think he is). He knows something's up, too. But there's nothing I can do about it.
Talk to your folks. Make them see. Good luck.
Arf.
