My dog is 3 years old and whenever we leave her home during the day she chews on something. We've tried putting bitter tasting sprays on the stuff she chews, we've tried disapplining her, we've tried leaving bones or toys for her to chew on. And when we tell her "No, Bad dog" and put her face by what she chewed, she starts wagging her tail and rolling over like she thinks I'm going to rub her belly. It's so annoying!! Please help, I'm running out of money to replace all the things she chews.

A three year old dog is not teething.
Your dog is likely having seperation anxiety. Crating will help, but you need to teach her slowly to accept a crate.
Telling her NO after she's done something while you're not home doesn't help. She's rolling over and wagging her tail because she's submitting to your anger.
Please start crating your dog for her own safety before she chews something that will hurt or kill her.

Has she ever been in a kennel, like kennel trained? If so why not just put her in the kennel? I know its very frustrating , my puppy is in teething stage right now and chewed my phone and my charger and headbands, rolls of toilet paper, and anything she can get at. My friend also had the same problem with her 1 yr old dog names Zoey. She would chew up EVERYTHING she tried the bitter sprays too. When she would leave she would put Zoey in a kennel and then get home do the normal stuff and watch what she plays with. Zoey is in obediance school now for training but I think the chewing problems done now.

I recommend;
1: kennel - when your gone/sleeping or even when she's bad
2: basement- if theres nothing down there that could be chewed (thats where my puppy goes when company comes.)

Sorry its not a lot of help but I hope it works for you!

Crate her while you're gone or put her into a room where she cannot reach anything that she is not allowed to chew. I don't know if she is chewing furniture, but I'd pick up anything else that you don't want her chewing. If she can't go outside while you're gone, I'd crate her.

You can't chew it's a natural act from dogs to releieve stress and also she's teething, next time you nag her, don't pay any atention to her ways and she should know that she did something wrong
