How did you feel when your kids did the same crap you did at that age? Sex, drugs, drinking, criminal stuff? Mine about put me in the nut house. Mostly my girls staying the night with boyfriends.

My daughter just said to me the other night that she was sorry for putting me through it when she was younger. She now has a 1 year old and said that she would kick her butt if she ever did the things that she did.lol I guess it just takes for them to grow up and realize what they did was wrong and in the meantime, hold our breath and pray that nothing horrible happens to them. I would have to put my foot down about the staying all night with boyfriends though. My daughter didnt do that(at least I dont think so) Did you Andrea??? lol Good luck with the girls. I know by experience that your going to need it.

The horrible thoughts that are going through my head right now are enough to put me there with you right now. My son is only 5 and I'm scared to see how he'll be in a few more years. The other scary thing is how much I sound like my parents too. I remember saying to my parents how I'll never say or do that to my kids and now I am. Scary!!!

My kid doesn't do that stuff yet because he's only 9. But I know what you mean, when I think of all the situations I've put myself in over the years, I just thank god I'm still alive and nothing bad ever happened to me. When I worry about my son doing these kinds of things, I remember that the same God that looked after me will be looking after him.

My day is coming...our son is almost 3 but I have known his Dad since our youth gone wild phase and know it's going to be an interesting ride.
All I know is that I'm not going to preach to my kid about sex, drugs and all that stuff that we all experimented with. I will however have it embedded into his brain that he can come to me for anything and to not hide what ever is going on in his life. If my parents were more aware of what I was all into I know I wouldn't have been as out of control as I was.
Also, when he turns 4 he will be starting karate, and from there other sports. Karate is for discipline, the team sports are there to channel his energy & to keep him focused & out of trouble. I know if my hubby & I were disiplined with extracuricular activities we wouldn't have gotten into half the troubles we did.
All I can do is share my knowledge and know that my boy will of course make mistakes but hopefully he will have learnt from mine first.

The thought of my daughter being even half as bad as I was terrifies me...Those years are quickly approaching though she turned eight last month...Sigh I will have to ask my parents how they survived

Luckily my daughter "thinks" she's bad. lol. I was so much worse - she has no idea. But I'll never let on. I make a huge deal out of it each time I catch her doing something - like it's the end of the world. If she only knew............

HI, WELL I JUST SAY I KNOW WHAT YOU ARE BOING. BECAUSE I WAS THERE ONCE. THEM WE TAKE ABOUT IT. I HAVE THE TRUST THAT THEY WONT DO IT AGAIN. I TELL THEM WHAT IN DID FOR ME. WHICH IT WAS JUST A FAST HIGH. AND IT DOSE NOTING FOR YOU. YOU HAVE TO HAVE SOME KIND OF CONTROL OF THEM. I THINK I DO. THEY ARE DOING JUST FIND. ALL YOU CAN DO IS THINK YOU ARE DOING RIGHT FOR YOUR CHILD. YOU KNOW YOUR CHILD THE BEST OUT OF ANY ONE.

me and my friend r teens and we do stuff butt not that we have a good time and stuff like thast butt i wouldn't do that though.shes probblly just wants 2 prove thats shes not ur little gurl anym

my kids are 3.5 and 2....so i am yet to get the whole kharma thing back.....must admit if they do as i did....you can probably reserve me a bed next to yours.....the things we have to look forward too.....
