Where can I donate shoes for people with only one foot?

I have a good friend that has to buy 2 pairs of identical shoes in 2 different sizes to fit her. She then has to throw away one of each shoe. Is there a place she could donate these shoes to people who only have one foot? It is a shame she has to throw them away when I am sure there is someone out there that could use one shoe

This is a great site of links that your friend should check out. Some sites allow people to buy just one shoe or to trade one shoe for another. There is also a site where you can get shoes where each foot is a different size which would be perfect for her. If she chooses to buy her own and donate the others, those in need will be so appreciative!
