Depends on the guy and the girl... Sometimes if a woman doesn't make the first move she misses out on a great guy just because he got shy or thought she wasn't interested...

A guy does not necessarily have to make the first move. She can do it too. I don't think it matters from a Christian perspective.

There may be all sorts of 'Christian perspectives' on relationships, but I don't think it matters who make the first move. I suppose some would say that it depends on just what that 'first move' is exactly.

Why does it matter if it's from a Christian perspective? I'm Christian and I don't let my religion affect my choices (unless of course it's a really big decision, like suddenly become aethistic). Personally, the guy doesn't always have to make the first move. I make a lot of the first moves just because I like to. It really doesn't matter.

No women should also make the first move. Why? There are guys like me out there that are too shy to make the first move.

Can I ask what is unchristainly about the female making the first move. There are plenty of things that could be mistaken as "the first move" such as a smile or a quick glance.

Nope, all this anti-woman crap has been added through the ages because of a bunch of uptight old idiots *my reasoning after looking into it* who couldn't get laid so they didn't want anyone else to be able to *end my reasoning*.

In fact, a good bit of the anti-sex tinge came from them too.

Most of the religion treats one and another as equals if not favoring the woman a bit(don't ask me where that went, but it is written in there). So someone who follows the book rather than someone else's teachings, should be fine with a woman doing what she wanted when she wanted.

The guy never EVER makes the first move, whether he's a Christian or not lol. It is the woman who sends the signal that an approach is okay.

I, myself would like them to make the first move... but I would never wait very long... I would end up making that move in case the guy was rather shy.

It is equal opportunity, but a person has to reveal themselves as being friendly and not merely nosy or making a midnight you know what call! Only time will tell, if you are about to make a true friend....Proverbs 18:24

Ideally, I would think that you would want a man to be a man and make the move. However, sometimes you girls have a way of crumbling us to dust with a wink of an eye. So, if he don't move, you better. I don't see anything unchristian about that.
