You can if you like soggy crackers. A friend used to put his crackers in the refrigerator because the apartment he was living in had all sorts of bugs and roaches. He kept everything in the refrigerator.

You can put anything in the fridge. And I would think crackers would be perfectly fine in there. Keeps the little buggies out too once you open them.
Uh, everyone who is saying they will get soggy is soooo wrong! I baked tons of Christmas cookies and I kept many in the fridge and even the freezer, not a soggy one to be found.
Why don't you try putting one sleeve of crackers in the fridge and see how you like it.

Yes crackers may be refrigerated in a container with a tight fitting lid to prevent becoming stale.

You can put crackers in the fridge, just make sure you close them and make sure your fridge is clean and washed, because if you fridge has a bad odor to it, it will prevent your crackers from staying fresh and the crackers will have a bad taste to them :(

I personally think that keeping crackers from getting soggy in the frige is more difficult than keeping them from getting stale in the pantry.

Just get all the air out of the plastic bag in the pantry and seal it up tightly!

Yes they can be refrigerated and yes it does keep them fresher. However taking them in and out will cause moisture to for within then unnoticed at first but eventually will cause soggy crackers.

I've never tried it. I've heard of keeping other items in the fri to keep them fresh, but not crackers.

If anyone tells you to put crackers in the ice box, they're nuts. That's about as sane as freezing coffee to keep it "fresh".

god...what people will do...
