Breezes in Curacao or just about any resort on Bonaire. Because these are both desert islands, it rarely rains. Which makes for EXTREMELY clear waters for most of the year. These are safe islands and contrary to the Netherlands, there are no marijuana bars. As a matter of fact it is highly illegal (I know any place that has the Netherlands name attached to it has a bad rep with that).

Well....I don't recommend a cruise with a child that age....it is too hectic....getting on and off the boat.....eating at certain times....too much planning!!! I am a Cancun fan myself....beach is beautiful,,,snorkeling is wonderful....and most resorts have babysitting services. I would suggest Gran Caribe Real as a first choice....they offer baby sitting services or a surcharge. There is also RIU Resorts and the Oasis Resorts. Playa del Carmen might be more what you have in mind......it offers the same, but with a less active atmosphere. I think I would look at Playa del Carmen.

I worked a number of years in the cruise industry and though it's nice, you spend more money then you think.... their business is normally made on onboard revenue. You are going to wind up on the expensive shore excursions and spend tons of money on wine/drinks. I think the best all inclusives are like sandals or barvarro beach. Get away stay at the beach and know that the food, drinks, flight, hotel is included. Relax and enjoy some warm weather. Hope you make a good decision :)

We are from Langley BC and before moving to Barbados we went to the Yukatan in Mexico each Feb,- all inclusive. Go to your travel agent and ask for an all inclusive near PLaya Del Carmen.
Be sure to ask them to check on baby sitting - I know that will not be a problem.
The flight from Vancouver to Cancun is about 5 hrs - direct, so great with the baby.
If you come to the Caribbean it is twice that and you will have to change planes.
Enjoy!!!

Try FDR Resorts in Jamaica. They assign you a nanny for the week!!!! They can stick with you, or take the kids off to the air conditioned activities center. $4 an hour for babysitting after hours, and they like to do it because they want the extra pay. One tank scuba dive per day included.
We just about had 'We "heart" our Nanny' shirts made. We absoutely trusted our nanny with our 4 year old son, and 18 month old daughter. Not one second of worry.
