Invisilines are braces to straighten your teeth, not protect them from grinding. But the Dentist can give you a mouth guard. You can buy one at the store, like the kind they use for sports, you put it in hot water and then can put it in your mouth to mold to your teeth. But I tried that and it felt bulky and bothered me. It's better to get the custom ones from your dentist so they aren't as intrusive. Try relaxation techniques, spray lavender on your sheets and pillow, play relaxing music, have one of those machines that infuses the room with a relaxing scent. Before bed do some gentle breathing and stretching, and clear your mind. Keep a notebook by your bed so you can write down any worries and tell yourself that you will think about them tomorrow. Stress is one of the biggest causes of teeth grinding.

Go to you dentist and ask if he has invisiline. If he does then he can take impressions of your teeth and then he will make a plastic cover that goes over you teeth then you just grind that instead of you teeth.

Go to the dentist and get a mouth guard if this is something that you are doing at night. It is expensive. They have to take an impression of your teeth and then have it made. The cheaper option would be going to the sports store and buying a mouth guard...........boil it..........bite it and theres your mouth guard.

try a night guard. I would first try the cheap ones they sell at wal-mart and see if you can handle wearing one. If you want one that is specifically made for your mouth you can have one made at your dental office. They can get expensive if you have one made just for you ($400) My husband grinds his teeth at night and it drives me crazy. The night guard has helped us both!
