Exactly. Those who say "eating after 6" are on "banker's hours" and obviously rise a lot earlier than you. The theory is right but is just basically saying it's best not to eat about 3 hours before you lie down to sleep (whenever that may be for you).
Dieters follow this rule based on the fact that your metabolism slows down while you sleep and are avoiding gaining weight by only ingesting food while his or her metabolism is at its highest.
Another key point to note about metabolism is never to deprive your body of food. The best way of eating is to eat frequent small balanced meals throughout your day. Reasoning is the same as slow metabolism at rest: if you deprive your body and you believe you are dieting, you are actually hurting your metabolism so that the next time you eat, your metabolism will be slow and you will not efficiently burn the food-your body thinks it is in starvation mode and cling to every calorie! So don't ever skip breakfast (or first meal after rising for your day) since it has been long since your body has last had food and needs the fuel to start up the metabolic process.....

hahaha. nice, me too.

i mean, whatever. I was just in Spain for 5 weeks, and they always eat dinner at like 9:30-10 pm. You never really see any fat Europeans.

It's better to eat a big lunch when you wake up, and then just have a lighter meal in the evening. It's more about portion control and only eating when you're hungry. Also, stay away from a lot of processed foods.

Basically eat like Europeans and you'll be hothothot

good day, nicely that's my own answer for your question about eating each and every thing it truly is on your plate, in case you'r a gentle woman they say for you to continuously leave somewhat something on your plate. yet at the same time as i became growing to be up i became advised that i could not leave the table until eventually i ate all the foodstuff on my plate because of all the starving little ones interior the international. so possibly your plate should not be too complete to commence with. so i'd leave somewhat something on my plate cuz i'm a lady. regardless of the indisputable fact that that's impolite to leave alot also. so u might want to attempt eating a number of each and every thing then that way u can say u tried to eat all of it. solid success & i am hoping i gave an answer that became effective to u. bb

Don't eat after 7pm latest 8pm. However, if you must, eat healthy and light foods such as fruits, vegetables. You can also eat carbs and protein, but go light. Also avoid snacking. Also, the last time you should eat before going to sleep is 3 hours prior.

You must be in college like me or you must have a job that lets out early in the morning therefore you sleep that long but I don't have any problems when I eat after 5 but I also have a high metabolism so I'm not for sure.

This is such a myth. You can eat after 6pm. You should try and eat small meals throughout the day and not gorge after 6pm, fine. However, you also need to adjust your eating schedule to your lifestyle.

6pm is an arbitrary time chosen because most people with daytime jobs go to bed about 10pm. Not eating for 4 hours before bedtime is all you need to guide you.
