Well mine of course was the best..LOL

Seriously, I went to one this summer and they had a chocolate fountain with all kinds of dipping things.. pineapple, oreo's, bananas, marshmallows and all kinds of things.
It was a very upscale wedding and the fountain made it more fun and people REALLY enjoyed it.

I also find that people like buffet style the best. I didn't have that and looking back I wish that I did. My friends did and it was so great to be able to get what and how much of what I wanted and not some food that I couldn't tell what it was.

I have also been to a wedding where they had (along with the wedding cake) a HUGE dessert table with the most decadent desserts.

I also think that some white lights make it really classy along with some chair covers.

Good Luck!

Well, I can't say which one was "best" but I will tell you what I liked best from different ones:

-wedding and reception held at same venue (therefor no driving from place to place!)

-SHORT ceremony

- cocktail hour with awesome food..many different "stations" like pasta, seafood, hibachi etc

-cocktail hour with enough seating for everyone: nothing harder to do than juggle a drink, plate of food and nowhere to sit..UGHH

-excellent band/dj that plays great dance songs

-dinner that isn't rubbery chicken, or over cooked prime rib, but a delicious meal that I would actually order if I were out to eat

-Vienesse hour (buffet of desserts, coffees, liquers, served after the weddign cake)

-transportation that is provided from the hotel to and from the reception so no one drives drunk

i want greater of a backyard variety wedding ceremony... like at an exceptionally superb southern plantation, have the marriage cerimony contained in the interior mid-day, with the reception exterior contained in the night while it cools down. i want chinese language (or is it jap?) lantern-esque lighting fixtures with yellow roses and accents of orange with the significant coloration being white. in basic terms some human beings from the two area of the relatives (like 15-25 each and each). and the nutrients would be set up like an elegant buffet. thats all i've got been given so some distance, yet i think of it quite is going to be the ideal wedding ceremony for me (if my destiny husband likes it too).

The invite said to wear swim wear under your dress clothes. The wedding was in a park. After the ceremony, everyone ripped off their clothes and tubed down the river. They had a big inflatable raft filled with ice and drinks and food and we had a grand day in the sun! :)

My wedding six years ago!!! My husband and I got married in the fall out in our backyard. Everyone stood around during the ceremony with their beers in their hand, and wearing their comfortable jeans. After the wedding we had a backyard BBQ with half a pig, half a deer and half a keg of beer! We had a real half a**ed wedding and everyone had a GREAT time!!!!

The best weddings are the ones where the ceremony doesn't drag on, the reception is upbeat, the food is good and the company is good.

I HAVE ATTENED OVER 200 WEDDINGS AND DESIGNED OVER 595 SOO..
A SHORT AND SIMPLE CEREMONY, VOWS WRITTEN BY THE COUPLE, GREAT FOOD , MOST GUESTS DO PREFER A BUFFET BUT PLEASE... DO NOT DO THE TYPICAL AND BORING HAM, TURKEY, MEATBALL AND PASTA... YUCK! THINK OF UNIQUE DISHES THAT INCLUDE A BEEF, CHICKEN, PASTA AND FISH
DESSERT TABLES AND AN ICE SHOOTER (ICE SCULPTURE THAT CHILLS SHOOTERS FOR THE GUESTS
AND ALL AND ALL A GREAT DJ MAKES THE WHOLE RECEPTION
IF YOUR GUESTS ARE NOT DANCING THERE IS SOMETHIN' WRONG

weddings aren't special to anyone but the bride and groom. so all the time that you spend stressing about the perfect shade of whatever to go on the tables will not be noticed by anyone else.
