Okay, I've got a power bill from Hell to take care of (413.04) and my fiancee doesn't have a job and can't stop blowing every damn penny he gets, so it's up to me to fix things. We live in a small town---very small, like Deliverance small, and I can't get a job here that well without a college education. We've tried going to Social Services for help with the bill, but it's in my dad's name and I haven't seen him in a couple of years now--we just pay it in his name because getting in with the power company is like joining a cult (you have to know someone who's getting their power from them and have them sign then pay a copayment and all that rediculous jazz). Family isn't helping. My mom is a psychopath who can't even take care of her own family and my grandparents have their own financial problems. I'm only 19 and I've tried almost everything but getting a loan. I'm afraid of them because of the crazy interest rates and the credit thing. I need help-badly. It's like...entropy...

Have you tried online, the internet yet. Unemployment loans are everywhere nowadays, you just need to pick the right one. Hope this helps otherwise I cannot think of another thing.

Whatever you do, don't borrow money to pay the electric bill. You have to make enough money to take care of rent and utilities. Even if you find a loan to pay that money this month, what are going to do next month? You will have another power bill from hell + the loan, aint gona make things easier!!!
Anyway, go to a restaurant or pizza place or whatever employers are there and work until you make enough money to pay those bills. Sorry honey, but with no job you will be facing the same problems every month, no they will get worse. Even if someone lends you money with no interest, how are you going to pay back with no job? I don't believe there are no jobs in town. Just go to every restaurant, every doctor's office, every bank and ask if they need help, and if they do start earning money and if they don't -- keep looking.

Well, first of all the fiancee with NO job and the inability to stop blowing (apparently) your money needs to be dropped like a hot potato.

If you're only 19, but have a job, it shouldn't be that difficult to get a "signature loan" from your bank for about $400.00. Get the bill paid, and then you'll have a small monthly bill to pay off the loan.

But the IMPORTANT thing is - GET RID OF THE LEACH THAT'S DRAINING YOUR FINANCES!!
