I don't drink coffee often but when I do drink more than 2 cups continuously a day, I get a headache. Anyone with the same problem or know the reason why?

From what i understand coffee capable on increase body temperature. I encounter heavy headache due to frequent taking of coffee. Maybe your body could not stand the heat due to the coffee intake. Try to reduce the coffee intake or drink alots of plain water after taking coffee. This will neutralize your body temperatue & reduce the headache.

Strange, I drink coffee daily(at least two cups) If I don't drink any, I get a really bad headache. As soon as I drink coffee or a soda, it goes away.

I heard that a lot too but I'm a bit addicted to coffee and I get headaches only when I DON'T drink coffee in the morning. However, since I started getting these migraine attacks the dr told me to cut drinking that much coffee since it stimulates migraines!

Headache is a pain in the head, scalp or neck. Headaches can be
caused by minor problems like eyestrain, lack of coffee or more
serious reasons like head injury, brain tumors, encephalitis and
meningitis. Taking painkillers continuously can have harmful side
effects, so it is better to modify your lifestyle. More information

If you don't normally drink or consume foods with caffeine, that is probably the problem. I only drink decaf coffee or soda that is decaffeinated, so even if I eat some chocolate, I can feel it. My body is not used to having caffeine.

a Harvard study found the best cure for a headache was coffee and aspirin....

If coffee gives you a headache you are probably reacting to it.....with the result that veins or arteries in your brain are spasming....
