I think they are ok. Like everything else, once you get to know them they are not that bad. I used to live next door to a family of sausages from Germany - they were Frankfurters actually. They were fine. Never heard a peep out of them - didn't talk much. Unlike the typicall Aussie snags down the road. They were having a barbq every second day and they sizzle so loud when they get hot. But they were nice with a case of beer around.

I guess the bottom line is: I never met a sausage I didn't like.

A & S Porkstore in Brooklyn on Avenue X has the best sausage I have ever eaten, hands down. My husband's German and I hate those German things, these are Italian and ssssoooo good.

And I hope you aren't just trying to trick women into using the phrase "LOVE SAUSAGE", by any chance..?

They taste good, especially the Cajun version called boudin. Usually they make it with pork, pork liver, and rice with spices pre-cooked in a sausage casing. I find boudin (pronounced BOO-dan) very delicous.
