As mentioned above, this venue is not intended for debate or discussion, activities that are actually prohibited by the Community Guidelines. That is the function of a chatroom or forum. The function of Y!A is to gain answers to questions that you don't already know the answer to.
I agree that I prefer a healthy debate, but I appreciate what Y!A is doing, as well.

yes it would be nice to have a yahoo forum like a chat where people can debate...but that would be war, anyway this question thing is very funny.
The problem about the forum is that is impossible to control and yahoo loves to control everything...

There should probably be a way to comment on comments. As it is, you can edit your own answers, but it will probably go unread.
Yes, you can IM / email if the person allows it. But remember most of the site is really questions/answers... this subject is probably very atypical.

it's not meant for debate, YA is supposed to be about recieving meaningful information like "how do I change the oil on this lawn mower?" etc., a message board is really a better forum for theological discussions

Ghost rider wants to stay a ghost, he doesn't allow anyone to e-mail him.
Ghost rider, hit the pencil icon and add details to debate this point
Ghost rider, I know you are new to this chat group, and you probably don't know how to add details to your question.
Just find the icon that looks like a pencil, then place your cursor over it and click on the sub-menu that says "add details" - then you can chat with anyone that has answered your question.

If you want to debate, find a message board. It's hard to reply to people here.

Well, you can go back and comment on people's answers. But yes, it's kind of difficult to carry on a discussion.

I noticed your e-mail isn't open, yet you claim to be interested in lively debate. What's up with that?
