so you want quick? and you want inexpensive? I dont have a lot of ideas but Quesidillas is easy quick and very cheap. You can put what ever you like in the middle and i guess this is where the cost will lie.
Buy a packet of Tortilla or Burrito wraps. ( you know the flat ones made out of corn ) They cost about $2 Australian. Lie flat onto a baking tray covered with Baking paper. You will need two sheets of wrap per quesidilla and each quesidila will get sliced into eighths. you will need approx two - four eighths per person depending on the variety of munchies you will have. Cover each quesidilla with a variety of fillings. Here are a few to get you started:
*Spicy Mince in bolognase sause
* Cheese
* Cheese and Avocado
* Ham and Cheese
* Can Spaghetti and cheese and basil
* Scrambled egg and bacon pieces
* THin Sliced Potatoe and bacon pieces an cheese
Spread fillings over inside of each wrap and place other wrap on top. Place in oven or under grill for 5 - 10 minutes or until outer wrap in crunchy. Remove and slice into eights immediately.( be careful not to burn fingers). Can be served hot or cold depending on insides. :)

Buy some hillsire farms cocktail weenies, wrap in a small piece of bacon and bake until the bacon is crispy.
Spinach dip made in the blender is another easy recipe - frozen spinach, thawed and drained, one cup of mayo, one cup of sour cream, 1 small can of water chess nuts, splash of lime juice, salt and pepper to taste. Blend all ingredients to the consistency of your preference, I like it completely smooth. You may need to slightly adjust the mayo and sour cream depending on you thick or thin you want the dip. Chill for at least 2 hours. Serve with veggie or chicken flavored crackers
Another easy idea is a jalapeno cheese ball. My mom made this one time, and has had the entire family hooked since. All you need is some cheddar cheese (1/2-1 cup) depending on your preference, cream cheese, two packages, 1 jalapeno (without seeds) or more if you like it hotter. Put the pepper in the food processor and process until finely chopped, add shredded cheese until it is chopped finely too, then add the cream cheese and blend. Chill for at least an hour for flavors to blend.
I love to cook, so feel free to ask for more recipes

Go to the store, get a couple of granny smith apples, pears, dried cranberries and puff pastry (in the frozen food section). Dice the apples and pears, add a cup of water, cinnamon, sugar and cranberries, cook until tender (about 15 minutes).
Thaw the puff pastry and cut into small squares, bake until golden brown. Let cool.
Place the apple mixture on top of the puff pastry.
Easy. One. Two. Three.

Shrimp cocktail is always great to have, everyone always likes it.
Same with meat and cheese trays and spinach dip.
You could make an easy queso dip with velveta and salsa or rotel or a 7 layer dip with refried beans, cheese, olives, sour cream, guacamole, tomatoes, and green onions.
Have fun!
