A good way to stretch your lower back and maybe even align it:
Sit on the floor with your legs stretched out in front of you. Bend your left knee so that your foot is to the OUTSIDE (left of your thigh) pulling you foot as close to your butt as you can while keeping your butt on the ground. bring your right foot to your left knee. Bracing yourself on your knee and the floor behind you, turn to the left and exhale. Continue to exhale and push yourself as far as possible without "bouncing" or hurting yourself. Hold for ten seconds or until you need to breath. Turn, exhale and hold to the right as well. then switch leg positions and repeat.
Upper Back:
Standing, rotate outstretched arms in circles at the same time until the circles are as big as you can make them. repeat in the opposite direction.
Overall Back:
Sitting "INDIAN" style, reach forward with both hands as if stretching your hamstrings. Count to 10 and then stretch further for another 10 seconds. Sit back for 5 seconds and repeat the stretch.

check out this site:
http://www.dcdoctor.com/pages/rightpages_wellnesscenter/homeexercises/homeexercise_back.html
when you click on an image, it shows a video image of a person performing the stretch, this way you don't hurt yourself. it is easy to strain the muscles of your back when attempting to stretch.
hope this helps!!

Do a backbend or a bridge. Once you feel comfortable with this, move your hand and feet closer together. But don't over do it. :)
