But more than anybody else I know. I watch a movie or something, which involves cheating, and it bothers me so much to the point that it feels like I've been cheated on.
It's weird because I've never been cheated on. I don't understand why I react so strongly (compared to others) to simply watching a story about other people cheating on each other.
Does this happen to anyone else?

I guess it has to do with many people's natural instict of putting themselves in those situation... In your case you might imagine how bad it would feel to be cheated on,, causing you to feel bad!!!

I don't react that strongly, but I do hate the idea of cheating because I've been cheated on before. It's hard for me to trust a new partner, and I do think that it sometimes causes problems. I think it's great that you feel so strongly against cheating because it does nothing but hurt people.

You're probably very empathic, which is a good thing within limits. We tend to put ourselves into situations characters in films/tv/books are experiencing, hence why we can relate to certain scenarios.
Personally, I can't watch anything involving long drawn out storylines where characters are terminally ill - never had that happen in my family but as soon as I see it I start thinking about my own circumstances.
There's nothing wrong with you - you have a moral basis, that's all!

Congratulations, you have morals. This is a good thing. Yes it does bother me, but I have been cheated on so I know the feeling first hand.

yes it happens to me A LOT! if i see cheating going on in a show or movie, i feel like i have to stop watching it! its great that someone else knows how i feel.

its just insecurity. no one likes da idea of cheating..but **** happens. since u've never been cheated on its almost normal to react that way. but at da same time u have to realize dat **** happens for sum reason or no reason at all. if u r unable to understand that....then ur not ready for a relationship....just my opinion

I hate cheaters as well. Seems like a person should be satisfied with their mate as they should satisfy their needs or move on and not put a person to open shame and hurt.
