can you help me find one plz. I see the reality weight shows say a female at 128 lbs can wear a size 4 dress. That does not equate to the general public's knowledge that a size 14 dress (the average US woman wears) is 150 pounds....because everyone says to move from one size to the next size it takes 10 pounds. Comments please.

There is no such thing, because even two people of the same weight and height can be completely different dress sizes, depending on frame size, amount of muscle versus fat and body shape.

Some sizes only have an inch difference and some have a 2 inch difference. Generally, I'd say every 5lb-7lb of fat loss is one inch and 10lb-15lb of fat loss is two inches.

Dress size should not be equated to weight. Muscle is denser than fat which means that a pound of muscle covers a smaller area than a pound of fat. Because of this a person who tones and builds muscle can weight more than before they started working out even though their body fat percentage may have dropped from their initial reading. Muscle is also leaner and smoother. Because of this, a person who is muscular and has a low body fat percentage probably has smaller measurements and may be able to fit into a size 6. Where as a person who is the same height and weight but has a higher body fat percentage has larger measurements and may fit into a size 12.

First all companies that make clothing for women are different and they make clothing different sizes. No one company has a size that fits everyone that is that size. Some bigger clothing stores have clothing that is oversized compaired to regular clothing stores. Some treat all large women as though they are 6ft. tall and have amazon legs. Others have long waists and short legs. It has nothing to do with the shape of womena nd how they translate into size. We have to try them on and we all may find our favorites that may fit us most often. Now places like Wal-Mart caters to larger women and has really good sizing for many women but, not all. so, good luck with the weight and sizing, it doesn't work. we all carry our weight in different places and they maks clothing so different it just doesn't compute. /sorry.

Dress size and weight do not correlate because women are different heights.

A woman 5' tall will weigh less than someone of 6' but could be the same dress size.
