How would the Mexican centrist react to a decrease of Mexican guest workers?

HOOO Boy! Someone is finally thinking.
Look at Bush's proposed fast track agreements. India is number one. Yes of course big business saves even more money if they have to pay an educated, skilled person a much lower wage than when it is for an unskilled person who can only get so much to start with.
I don't think you will see an uprising of Mexicans on this point, though. I think amnesty is the issue they are looking towards, along with the seasonal worker to citizenship programs in Agjobs. I agree that the other guest worker jobs will likely end up going less to Mexicans than to those from eastern Europe and India.

The guest worker program will just further depress wages for American workers and put more Americans out of work. The corporations and politicians will get even fatter paychecks. The corporations can get Mexicans to work for low wages, subsidized by taxpayer money, so companies will keep bringing more Mexicans into the US.

Most Chinese and Indians are skilled workers and yes those types of workers are in high demand in the US but with the rise in the Indian and chinese economies they are harder to find these days which really hurts the US. Mexicans are mostly unskilled but they are still really needed in the US because there either aren't enough US citizens to fill the jobs or they don't want them which is why unskilled mexican labor is so important to the US.

According to studies made by many Universities Mexican workers in the USA work harder and are more honest and loyal than any other worker. In addition Mexican workers are more skilled in many of the industries than any other worker. It is not coincidence that today companies prefer them over many other people. (If you do not believe it just look at how your home is built by great skilled Mexican worker) At the end all jobs will go to China and India any way so why bother to come here? You may have to start learning Chinese... this is probably your next question! As of Mexicans they are so skilled that they will always find a job.....even in China

yes i think they would prefer the Chinese and Indians. they are way better workers. who cares if the centrist idiots got mad. they don't care how we feel about the illegals being here.

each and all the above. all of them have somewhat sturdy issues with out meat for us vegetarians...chinese language has noodles and rice and greens, Italian has pasta and garlic bread, Indian has rice and curries, Mexican has enchiladas and bean tacos. Mmmmm i'm hungry now.

They would have a big S---fit..
I think the reason chinese are so welcome and Indians is that they learn the language.. Whenyou buy from an indian or chinese or sell them they say think you "IN ENGLISH".
Mexicans don't want to say anything in english even if they are well versed in english.. Many of them can speak good english and refuse to . So to hell with them.
Mexicans don't like to say thank you to an American. They like to act like they are better than we are. it's the old "I hate you becuase I have to work for you for aliving. well we all work for aliving. we in america work for Chinese, mexicans, french, german, russians, jews, englis, pther americans ect.
We don't have a problem working for someone who doesn't look just like us sowe don't under stand why they do.
If a mexican doesn't like doing business with a white person he/she can go home to mexico ot to hell. It's all the same to me.
We don't owe them and we are sick of seeing our tax money supporting people whjo don't like us or resent us for being successful when they with their natural resourses have ever chance of being so in their own homeland.

If the companies are smart enough, especially in Hollywood they would prefer someone from the Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan.

I think most companies would prefer an EDUCATED guest worker, no matter what the origin.

Your logic sounds correct, but do you know to what lengths those in the upper class will go to fight this? Do not forget that those with PhDs go to great lengths to protect their Golden Goose.
Right now, the greatest benefit to US would come from having more medical doctors. I know and you know that it will not happen.
