How long would it take me to reach being an editor for a magazine?! Is it more then 5 years?

Depends on your talent. Faster for some and longer for others. Do you have experience? You will have to work your way up and network with sucessful editiors to help get your foot into the door. That is how Oprah did it. DJ on the radio, reporter, talk show host. If you did editorial work in High School, in College and for small magazines then you will probably be more apt to land an editorial position for a larger magazine. Good Luck!
