Was the unabomber Ted Kaczynski also the Zodiac killer?

Has anyone ever proven the theory that they are one and the same?

As stated by others, the modus operandi difference between the Unabomber and the Zodiac would be the biggest problem when trying to link both series of crimes to the same person.

First of all, from the quick review I gave both cases, the targets chosen by the Unabomber and the Zodiac were completely different. The Zodiac's targets were couples in secluded places. The Unabomber targeted university teachers and airline companies.

Another difference is the reasons each committed the crimes. The Zodiac crimes were based on (most likely) sexual gratification of some sort. The Unabomber seemed to have an agenda, which seemed to be to expose the dangers of advanced technology.

While there are some theories in existence that seem to give credit to the possibility that the Unabomber could have been the Zodiac, there are problems with the theories. Ted Kaczynski was in California during the time-frame of the Zodiac murders, but not all of them. Furthermore, the FBI has ruled out Mr. Kaczynski as a possible suspect for the Zodiac murders.

I haven't heard of any connection linking Kacynski as the Zodiac killer.

Check the dates, times and locations. Even Their "methods of operation" are different. No They are/were two different psychotic killers.
