My partner is here on a 12 month working visa but we have to figure out pretty quickly how to get him at least temporary residency beyond that. Have you gotten a work permit/ defacto visa or come into the country through marriage and how did you go about it? Did you apply from Australia or overseas? How long did it take? How much did it cost? Thanks so much!

i hope when u find the answers to forward it o me; i know that there must be a sponcer there that will take responsibility about you in Australia, if u r going to work then this sponcer must be the company that u r going to work in it , if it is marragie then it is obvious that the one u wanna marry is the sponcer and sure he has to be legaly found there or an austalian ..
