Without knowing how far away he is going or for how long, how long you hve been going out, or for what reason, I'll assume it's a long distance, for a long time, you just started the relationship, and the move is due to something not in his control or college-related.... there are may aspects to this question. But, if you like him and who he is, keep in touch if you like doing so and you won't feel hurt by it. If you really like him, keep in touch and, if you haven't discussed already, maybe now is the time for a conversation about your relationship. I'm not saying forget about him and I'm not saying to fall in love with him - because long-distance relationships do work, but you need to consider things.... how much do you like him, how much does he like you, how often will you see each other, do you like him that much? I could go on and on.... but it really depends on you and him and how you feel - that would be the most important.

Sneak out of the house and show your man just how much you will miss him give him something to think about while he is in Houston make sure that no matter what girl tries to talk to him he will still be thinking about his girl at home

Get over it and realize that thousands of military wives and girlfriends are hoping and praying every single day they their husbands and boyfriends aren't killed in duty. He's going to houston for cripes sake, it's not a big deal.

well I dont know the details but even if it's really early you should make it a point to somehow say goodbye...If he is going to live there, then really say goodby for good unless you like being a sitting duck...
