This will work. After you take a shower get a q-tip, anti bacterial liquid soap, and toothpaste (the paste not gel kind). Put the anti bacterial soap on one end of the q-tip and rub it whee you feel the cold sore coming in. Pat this dry with towel. Next put the toothpaste on the cold sore area and leave it overnight. You can feel the area sting a little bit, but there is something in the toothpaste that kills the bacteria that causes cold sores. Do this as much as possible twice a day if you got nothing to do or just over night for a few nights.

Hi, if u go to a pharmacy or drug store in the vitamen isle is a product called L-Lysine. It is an amino acid. It is a pill you take and it will shorten the length of time that the cold sores last and later if u feel like u are getting another one u can take the L-Lysine and it may help ward off the cold sore. This was recommeded to me by a pharmisist and has alwasy worked good for me. Hope u are better soon :)

I got diagnosed with herpes simplex virus (type 2) about 3 years ago, when I was still in college and had a dumb one-night stand. I realize a lot of people say this, but I swear I had never done that sort of thing before. I just made a mistake that one time and all of a sudden it seemed like I was going to have to live with the implications for the rest of my life. The hardest part was feeling I could never date guys again. In the end, who wants to go out with someone who has sores round her "you know what" area? But since a friend shared this video https://tr.im/lZhSr everything improved.
Not only was I able to eradicate all remnants of the herpes virus from my body in less than three weeks, but I was also able to start dating again. I even met the man of my dreams and I'm so blessed to write that just a week ago, in front of everyone in a busy restaurant, he got down on one knee and proposed to me!! This program gave me back the opportunity to be happy and experience real love again. Now I want to help others by sharing this story.

Try putting an ice cube in a ziploc bag and putting it on the sore. Leave it on for 10-15 minutes. Repeat every hour or so. That should help to make it go away faster. It works for me.

You need to use a cream containing ACYCLOVIR an anti virus medication. Use vaseline too to stop the sores drying out so they heal faster and are less painful.
You must feel awful but it will get better.
Dont touch the sores and then touch your eyes- wash your hands after touching the sores and putting the cream on!
Get well soon!

Go to your doctor and get a prescription for Zovirax(acyclovir) ointment. It is very and heals the outbreak in just a few days. It is not a cure, there is no cure for Herpes virus. I have been using it for a long time. Each time you use it it makes the outbreaks occur less often. It is GOOD stuff.....the med, that is not the herpes.
