Do you think this old double standard is fair. Why can't women enjoy having sex with as many partner they want without being labelled as whores or sluts.
I used to work in pornos and alot times women in porn are considered whores, while they are some of the nicest (personality wise) women you can meet.
Women who enjoy sex, want to have it with a variety of men, what is wrong with that, men have been screwing around for centuries and collecting names.

Basically you are a whore, not because i say so but because by def. of the word. You work in porn, which means you have sex to make money and that makes you a whore. I dont make this stuff up, and i didnt write the dictionary! But i guess this would mean that men doing the same are whores as well. A sl*t is just a promiscuous woman or man; refers to a person who does not limit their sex life to the cultural norm, typically one partner. So by def., you actually are a sl*t and a whore! Is not a double standard, its just the truth.

this double standards is just a societal view.. if you want to have sex, then go for it. don't let anyone else tell you whether it's right or wrong. their opinion doesn't matter.. just be yourself and make the right decision for yourself, and you'll never regret it.
personally, i think sex should be reserved only for love situations, but i know most would probably disagree with that.
but yah, there does seem to be a society double standard, but i never life my life based on what society thinks is best for me.. society doesn't know me.. only i know myself and know what's best for me.,. you need to decide the same thing for yourself

No it is not fair.... but it happens... Hopefully the recent article in published by USA Today http://www.wkyc.com/news/news_article.aspx?storyid=60838 will have an effect on eliminating this double standard.

i enjoy sex and could be considered a whore, and its wrong. the double standard is old and out of date.its really wrong, disrespectful, to congratulate a man and tsk at a woman...fun is fun..
