He had/has Vitiligo, the same skin disease I have. Its caused by a glandular problem, your skin color is thought to be a "disease" or something similar and your bodies immune system KILLS it like it would an infection, however, when it kills the melanin, it leaves white OR pink patches because there is no more skin color. You can NEVER tan there again, because there is no skin color there TOO TAN! Therefore you can get skin cancer very, very easy. You need to wear hats, or an umbrella to cover your face (I prefer a hat). My face is pink, not white. And it will never tan.

However, there are new treatments available, which I am looking into, supposedly to restore some if not most of your color. By doing this, using special lights, it can allow your skin color to 'grow' back where it was missing. I'm not sure how it works, I haven't contacted a dermatologist yet. But, I will and soon!

He didn't change his color...he can't.
He has a skin pigmentation condition that discolors in places. I have a friend with the same thing. She's Greek. Her face in whiter than her olive skinned body and she has a white patch in the middle of her back that looks like the map of Austrailia.

That is not a disease. Sure, it exists, but you come out all patchy. I've seen people with it. He bleaches his skin - you can tell because if you look at his hands, the skin under his nails that the bleach can't reach is still black. That's why he wears gloves all the time.

He has a skin condition which gives him pale skin patches lighter than his own skin tone so he just had all of his skin bleached or whatever they did to lighten his skin so he wouldn't have to deal with patches popping up.

One time when I was young I asked my mom how Michael Jackson's skin color changed. She told me that he went to the moon and that's what made him white.

He was an adorable kid singer. Why he wanted to
change his looks is beyond me. He became a
wierdo in looks and acts. He could have been a
real "class act" but he blew it and many teenagers
fell for it as he made millions of their dollars from his
concerts and music.

He bleached his skin white because he feels inferior as a black. He is a sick pervert who has sex with children. There is a lot more wrong with him than meets the eye.
