This question is like another that was asked earlier ( but it was directed at atheists.)

What would you do if your afterlife was totally different than what you wanted/expected it to be?
(I am not looking for,"That's not gonna happen!". Try to answer the question honestly please.)

Well, what you do?
In this afterlife, are we independent beings? Do we have free will? Do we go to a tangible place?
It all depends...

Or do you mean "What would you think if...?"

That's hard to answer because there are so many possibilities that would be not what I want/expect.

If there's no afterlife, I'll be dead, won't realize it, and won't care.

If I get reincarnated, I'll have a new life, won't realize it, and won't care.

If everyone gets into heaven regardless of what they believe or do, that would be a relief - as long as everyone was made perfect/new/good. Otherwise, it would be just like now - only more crowded - and that wouldn't be heaven.

If it turns out that some other faith was correct about the identity of the true God, that could be a problem for me, but I wouldn't be able to do or say much. God would still be God. If I was wrong about who He was and didn't worship Him properly, and if He wanted to send me to hell (or whatever the appropriate punishment is in other religions), there would be nothing I could do to change or prevent it.

Accept it. I imagine I would be overawed no matter what it is, since it will be a new experience beyond the earthly ones I grew accustomed to during mortal life. Perhaps I'd react just like a newborn baby does when it is dragged into this world.

I was raised to believe in heaven which sounds kinda boring, and hell which sounds like a *****, I would love it to be a place where anything you want is there kinda like fantasy island. I could go for the 72 virgins.

I fully expect it to be completely unexpected, so I think I'd be OK.

1 Cor 2:9 "What eye has not seen, and ear has not heard, and what has not entered the human heart, what God has prepared for those who love him"

There's nothing I could do but accept it. The only way of knowing for sure is dying though.

I'd be happy as long as I got to experience my loved ones again.

I expect it to be rather an adventure. If it's boring, I'll be sorely disappointed.
