I want to make a copy of a VHS tape, but i dont know how to set up the equipment or how to do it. Thanks for any help

run a cable from the output port of the one you put the prerecoded tape in to the input port of the vcr that you are recording on.
insert the prerecoded tape in the 1st vcr and blank tape in 2nd vcr.
push play and record on the repective machines at the same time.

You're going to need an image stabilizer or it won't work.
Go Video makes these as well as double VCR units that can copy tapes. Commercially produced video tapes have copyright protection that will screw up your copy.

One the machine that you are to play the tape choose video(x2) and audio out. One the machine that you want to copy choose video(x2) and audio in. Choose the speed that you want to record at on machine two. Load start to play on machine one and record on machine two.
