If you live in the US and aren't a Native American, you are an immigrant...

a lot of you idiots out there need to read some books because your obviously don't know the meaning of the word...

Definition of Immigrant:

Immigration is the act of moving to or settling in another country or region, temporarily or permanently. An immigrant is someone who intends to reside permanently, and not a casual visitor or traveler. Immigration means "in-migration" into a country, and is the reverse of emigration, or "out-migration." The long term and/or permanent movement of human population in general, whether into, out of, or within countries (or before the existence of recognised countries) is regarded as migration.

My wife was an illegal immigrant. We got married and had a child here. I filed a petition on her behalf and the old INS required us to leave the country to process the application at the American Consulate. We were approved, walked to the border station, waited for her Green Card and then entered the U.S. legally. She felt great that we left the U.S. to undo the wrong she committed.
She has abandoned her flag, is now learning English, passed the citizenship exam and now has her Naturalization Certificate. She proudly uses her American passport when traveling abroad.
She is now a very happy American citizen who loves this country.
She continues to send money to her mother (age 76). She visits her once every year taking presents and stories of her new country. She votes and owes no taxes. In the past she has convinced a dozen women to turn themselves in to the old INS and get off welfare.
She advocates following the laws of the United States to her friends. I am really a lucky guy!
So, please obey the laws and if your have violated them ask for a pardon. Be truthful! Do not commit perjury or use another person's ID or SSN. Submit forms by mail even if you do not qualify. At least DHS will know where you are. File the AR-11 change of address at the Kentucky office every time you move, change your job or change your school of attendance.
Do not drive without a driver's license. Buy auto liability insurance and keep it active. Do not ask for any public benefit, Pay for your children to go to private school until you are a legal person in this country. If you ask for a public benefit in an emergency sign an agreement to repay. Always make your payments on time. Do not lie on your tax return. File your taxes using a INTIN (Individual Taxpayer Identification Number) and please do not invent a SSN (Social Security Number) or borrow one. It may seriously affect another person.

Try flying into another country and staying forever and working.....its hard enough just getting thru the security points to get on the planes overseas....lol.....These people know its against the law so they should file the correct papers like anyone else should.

I'm not related to an illegal nor is anyone I know... go live near the border as an American citizen and see how your tax dollars and police forces are wasted on dealing with them.

Now kitty cat don't be so blonde on us. You know there is not at least one person related to (i think you meant every ) illegal in this country. In fact there are few of us related to them.

Illegals are taking jobs, and killing our tax dollars in freebies. They (mexicans or most his-spanish) do not wish to be americans, but wish to change America to suit them.

We see them demostrating not for american rioghts but for mexican rights with their mexican flags., and it makes you sick.
What is it wiht mexicans and other illegals. Why don't they force a change in their country instead of tryiong to turn this oneinto anothe rhell hole like mexico.

I'm not related to any illegal. show proof where I'm related to an illegal. I'm smarter then that to allow an illegal into my home. i may as well turn my self in for harboring a criminal.

The thing is, back when all the immigrating of our ancestors was being done, there was plenty of room for everyone. There were no billion dollar deficits for healthcare and welfare programs. We have enough poverty here without importing more.
