I dont think people should say that this and that is wrong. Because a person who is trully religious and faithful should keep that between him and God. Who are you proving your faith to if your tryin to be religious or practice ur religion.

Why do you feel that truth is limited to one religion? Is there truth in one culture that makes all the other cultures inferior? I think not. Religion is shaped by the culture that we are immersed in. If we do not understand the culture, then we do not understand the religion that is part of that culture.
Let's assume, for the sake of argument, that there is only one God. Let's also assume that God made all men that wake the face of the earth, and like any loving Father he does not play favorites. How does he communicate with his children? The answer is simple. He communicates with a language they understand. Just because he may be speaking to you through your religion does not mean that he isn't speaking to anyone else through a different religion. In the great religions, the message is the same, the actors that carry the message may be different and the costumes and settings are different, but the message is the same. The real truth is not in the details that separate the world religions, but what they have in common.

There is no so-called true religion. God will not judge a country or a building of people but that which is in each mans heart. There are good and bad in all walks of life. The point being is what you learn is the key factor of knowledge, where you learn it is non-important. If you are truly seeking God he will show himself to you no matter which building you may be standing in. Only through him will you gain the knowledge how to live that becomes pleasing to him. All religions teach pretty much the same thing the only difference is that how man teaches it and some do so as a way of control. telling you how to act how to dress but this is not important to God. Regardless what you may have heard God does not want your money and he does not need you to look a certain way. He only requires praise and why not after all he is God.

You asked the question at the beginning and then answered it at the ending. Therefore, I shall abide the first:
The religion that is true is whatever religion is true to and for and with you, and you only.
Say there is just one sole religion that stands above and beyond the rest -- by what means might this be proven?
An exchange would be a better word, not a debate, which would be futile.
For every truth, there is a relative truth and an absolute one.
So before we go any further, I have to know which of the two do you speak of. Caution: both are outrageously complex subjects to address and dialogues to engage in...

No religion is the 'true' one.
Religion is about doing certain rituals at the proper times, which are dictated by the clergy in that particular religion.
Spirituality, on the other hand, is the "one true way", and no one can tell you what that is for you.
We are all so different and there is no one anything that can be right for all people in spite of what the religious nuts say.

There is no true religion. Every religion is the same in a sense. They all pray to a higher person and believe everything the specfic book says. But I have heard that in Muslim religion that our God Jesus is actually a prophet. I dont know. I think religion has gotten too crazy. I think there are too many restrictions when really God should be happy by letting us be happy and living the way we want to live with no fear of punishment. Except kill people, break the law etc. But if you want to have sex before your married, or drink, or or marry someone with a different religion we should be able to without worrying if we are going to get sent to hell.

I believe that there is no one religion that is true. I believe that each organized religion has a piece of the truth. I also believe that every person has a piece of the truth.
What is true for me and what it true for you may be similar, but rarely will they be exactly the same.
An example of how it works....I knew a Lutheran Minister.... and I told him that I had issues with some of the stuff that Lutherans believed... he told me then that he did too! I asked how he could be a pastor for the Lutheran church... he told me that what they practiced was the closest to how he believed that he had found so far. He didn't just settle into his faith, he was living it each and every day as he searched for his answers. In doing so found his path.
Religion is a structured path to Spirituality. No one can tell you what your Spiritual path is except for you.

All of the major religions belong under the umbrella of the one true religion - the Religion of God. They were sent to mankind in progression (every 500-1000 years) and will continue to be sent in this way. It's God's promise to humanity to never leave us to ourselves. The most recent Revelation was given to humanity in 1844/1863 so the next One won't come until around 2844.

Hinduism. It is true. Because it is not about one person (God). It is not even polytheist. The only reason the Hindus have multiple Gods, is because their ONE God, can put himself into different forms, with different names. It's not based on what some person said that they are the son of God or things like that. It is all scriptures, and Holy Writtings. It's a religion about peace. Much like all of the Dharmic religions. It's not like Islam where all non-Muslims are to be Satan, and must be gone forever. It's a religion so peacefull, that there is no one exact way to convert, because it is not forceful in anyways. It's not like you see ANY Hindu based grade schools how you see Catholic schools and Islamic schools.

Truth is not a religion, it is a person.
"I, I am the Way and the Truth and the Life; no man comes to the Father except through Me" (the Lord Jesus Christ) (John 14:6)
