You can't really call it cheating unless the boyfriend or girlfriend finds someone to talk to on that dating site. If there is a situation like that then talk to the person and see why they are on a dating site when they are already dating someone else.

I would be very upset if my boyfriend was on a dating website or blog. I don't care if it's not face to face. When you are boyfriend and girlfriend that is an exclusive relationship between TWO people. I would be saying goodbye to this so called bf/gf. The relationship must not be to important to them if they are looking elsewhere. You deserve better and shouldn't accept anything less than total commitment from your mate. If the shoe was on the other foot they wouldn't appreciate it either. Kick him or her to the curb.

It's not cheating, but if they are newly registered to these sites, and you have been together 3 years, it's definitely an area of concern. You may be set up for some serious heartbreak sometime soon. Try talking about it. It may be something he or she was apart of before you got together.

Ummm.... well, nooo, depends what they are talking about.
If the chat is about life, the weather, work whatever... those that are looking for a good time should not get any attention.
If the conversation is clean, its fine. There's an element of trust here... how did you find out? Maybe they had the acct before you came along.. you never know, just ask.

Sometimes people go on those things because they are bored or they were on there prior to being with you. It does not mean they are cheating on you. It could mean they just are still a member. Maybe they did not tell you because they forgot they were on it or they did not think it was a big deal. Confront them and ask why they didn't tell you it could be something very simple.

It's not cheating in a physical sense. But in my opinion if the bf/gf has thought about doing it, in the eye's of god they have already cheated.

Absolutely! Cheating is anything that you would not tell the person you're with. The only ammendment I would make to that is if you two have not discussed only dating each other and no one else.

To me yes it is. I think that if you are committed to someone you should not be on dating websites or flirt or speak lovingly online with other people. i've been there and I was highly ticked off when I found out.

Whether or not it is "cheating" it certainly means that something is the matter with your relationship and you need to talk about it. Getting angry at him will not solve the problem.
