Some are, yes. Vets will tell you they aren't, but how do you explain a dog freaking out when hit certain areas? Like between the ribs and the hip, or the chest??

I used to have a dog who loved to be tickeled! She would squirm around till I would stop, then come back for more!

You don't have to have a degree in animal behavior, or be a rocket scientist to figure that out! You just have to know animals, and have some common sense!

My dog is VERY ticklish behind his right leg. Sometimes, you may touch the dog in its "tickle" spot and the reaction is in another part of the body.

Yes they are, but they don't express it the way people do, and not quite in the same degree as humans.

In humans, when we get tickled, we often attempt to pull away from the tickling. But in dogs, it triggers the "shaking leg" reaction, where a dog will shake its leg, almost like its trying to scratch itself, and they seem to enjoy enough that they don't try to pull away.

Some dogs will also stick their tongues in and out, at a moderate pace.

Why not? One of my dogs is ticklish on the pads of her feet.

The answer is yes. All higher mammals have a nerve response that equates with that of the expression wrought from tickling.

they have a tickle spot which is right under their rib cage or some where close to that you can tell because they move their leg like their scratching

I think they are. That is why their back leg moves when you scratch them in a particular place.
