i think u should do because since it something ur interested in u can make a whole lotta new friends cuz u share something in common and i think no matter what u do ur gonna learn more about it and become real good at what chu do. just as long as ur very determined. i think it'll pay a WHOLE lot of money for a good magazine and i dont think the job is stupid at all. and yea i think it will take a long time. you have to work your way to the top so ur not gonna start of the editor of a magazine, but youll be doing something similar to that

Go for it! A lot of money depends on what YOU are happy with. Me? I fine 40k and up to be comfy so I have no issue with this type of salary. If you love what you do, you'll never work a day in your life. I say go for it because you will do well at this type of job when you know it's something you love doing. If you really like writing, you can freelance and make a little more money on the side. Besides, how many rich people can honestly say they LOVE what they do? Not many!
How long? Depends. If it is a small magazine, it can take a few years. If it is a large one like Seventeen or something it might even take up to a decade! You can make around 50k-70k from what I understand from looking at Indeed.com. But that depends on where you live of course! As long as you love it, you should do fine! I've spoken to people who truly love their jobs and it's almost as if they can't believe they get paid to have fun!!

Yes, follow your dream! If you have the skills and it may take a long time but if you start with a small job at a magazine, you can rise up to the head job! I'm 13 and I got that from my family because I have the same dream that you have. And I know that I can do it because I can write well, I get straight As at school, I know how to dress and I even make my own magazine at home to pratice and my friends actually buy it! You should really support your dream if that's what you really want to be. You can make it if you want to.

Well, I really don't see myself being a published author when I grow up. It's not really career choice, and although it seems like I have always loved writing, for some reason, being and author never occurs to me. I guess that helps me finish my stories and keep writing. I write for the fun of it and not because I think or hope it's going to get me published in the future. When publishing isn't even in my radar, I think it helps me focus on just writing and improving because I want to, even though it's not going to get me much in the long run. I'm learning to play piano, and I sing too. But I really don't plan on that being a career path either. I love to sing and play, but I just never saw myself doing that. So, that makes it easier to keep at it, because I'm doing because once upon a time, I made a commitment, said I wanted to do something. And I always try to finish what I start. I believe that if you want something enough, you will move a mountain to get it. That keeps me going. BQ: Good. Got to see a friend who I haven't seen in like a year. :) BQ2: Freak out, yell a bit, and then try to find my kids. BQ3: I'm not entirely sure what I want to do. Lawyer has been out there since I was 6 (family's idea, and I love debating), more recently, psychiatrist (discovered my love of psychology), and maybe interior designer? Somebody suggested that more recently. I have to make everything pretty. So, I don't know. Time will tell.

IT IS NOT STUPID that is a career many women would love to pursue and have, dont let other discourage you. If its really what you want out life, then go for it, your only going to regret not suceeding in it, if its your pasion! otherwise, WHO KNOWS how long it can take, but thats life, its 99% unpredictable! If its your dream job do it, and who cares how long it takes, and im not sure what the money looks like in that line of work, but as long as your happy, and you make enough to survive thats all that matters!GODD LUCK!

Do whatever makes you happy. In the end, it is YOU who will be doing it so make sure you end up doing something that you love.
If it's what you truly want, I say go for it!
