You could make a list that stretched around the planet of things you could do that are sinful, but it's far more practical to seek God with all your heart and to love other people. If you are truly seeking God and truly loving other people, you will detect sin more easily. Sin is anything that separates us from God. In the meantime you can try to abstain from behavior that harms or deprives others. Seek God and He will lead you to truth.

We interact so much with people that it is hard for some people to relate to spiritual being. It's only because we don't give our self enough to devote our self to prayer. Through prayer to our Lord Jesus Christ-the Holy Spirit speaks of all the answers you question about God. It is easy to understand that God so much love the world he sent His only son Jesus to pay the price for our sins.
How? Simple when you sin ask our Lord Jesus Christ to forgive your sin, and He (not a rc priest or minster) a long know your true forgiveness. If it is a true forgiveness, and then He will wipe away that sin. Jesus gave us the main connection to God, to understand what God is asking of us. God Bless.

Trying to say what is sin and what isn't will only start pointless arguments.
I submit that nobody here can go 30 seconds without sinning, unless you're praying, and even then it's still a little iffy.
Sins of the mind, of the heart, sins of omission, be honest with yourself.

Sins are those things that separate us from God, and from one another, and the things that hurt ourselves or others. Catholic tradition names 7 deadly sins, and the OT contains the 10 Commandments.

Ask God to forgive your sins(if you mean it).
Ask him in Jesus name. You will be forgiven.
Then do not repeat the sin.

Read the King James Version Bible and any place where God tells us to do something and we don't / aren't doing it that is sin. And, where it tells us not to do something and we do it, that is sin. There are over 200 DOs or DON'Ts in the Bible.

What do you mean by "the sins"? There are many sins.
There is only one sin that will keep you from Heaven.....Omission.

The first sin is not to accept Jesus as your Savior..............He was born on CHRISTMAS to bring Christ into the world and then die for you...........Accept Jesus as your savior and you will find out............That is the first step away from sin
