i heard our troops killed about 35,000-50,000 insurgents so far,but i also heard about a much more probable higher number of about 100,000 ,which number seems the most probable?

That is a difficult question to answer since insurgents tend to blend into, and are often actually part of the civillian population. There are frequent disputes between the troops and the locals as to what constitutes an "insurgent".

You are going to have a hard time getting an accurate answer to this question. The US military is not discussing this (we do not want the enemy to know how badly we are hurting them) and according to the news media and leftists - everybody we kill is a 'civilian.'

Another factor is that we are capturing more insurgents than we are killing.

What is an Islamo-fascist? Is that another term some Faux News opundit came up with? Do you even know what is fascism? Somehow I doubt it.

These insurgents are simply civilians that are fighting the US-led occupation of their country.
