Usually when I start up my computer, and get past the log on screen, the programs that usually come up aren't. Norton is not starting(and when I open it from the start menu it doesn't either) and the thing for my internet does not pop up. What could be the problem? I've tried restarting it several times and it still doesn't work. Thanks

Norton apps have a tendency to screw up your pc, because it doesn't play nice with other security apps. You can try to Uninstall Norton or Window defender temporary to see if it works. Window Defender icon does not show up on the task bar by default. You have to open Defender and choose the option tab to change that.

it could be somthing got scrambled with nortons or ur nic driver so maybe uninstall ur nic card then redetect it .. . i hate to mention this cause its overused .. but that sounds like it could be a virus to ...
