I think I have a fungus on my leg, it is itchy and it is not a rash. Given that it is a fungus, what is the medication I could take for it?

Try lotrimin, lamisil, aftate or similar, if you are sure it is a fungus.

By the generic, it's cheaper. I occasionally get that in summer even though I am very clean. I prefer The Lotrimin Generic.

If by leg you mean groin, then it probably is and is probably jock itch.

Fungus can occur anywhere on the skin, though.

Shower everyday and dry well, especially in groin areas, between toes etc. wait until you are very dry to put on underwear, socks and your clothes.

If it does not improve in 2 weeks, gets wrse or you are not sure it is a fungus, go see the doc.

what i would do is go to a local pharmacy (eckerd, walgreens, rite aid)store and look for something anti-fungal. better yet you can talk to the pharmacist about it and they can probably help you out alot better than somebody off the internet.

Someone who knows what they are looking for needs to see this.
You could try a pharmacy but probably need to see a doctor.

ask the pharmacist. there are several medicated creams or ointments you can buy at the drug store (antifungals)
