okay i want to download windows defender. it asks for a validation , and i have genuine windows xp. i wanted to know if i need to look for the product key for xp for validation to work. will they know that the xp i have is genuine automatically? thx

Windows validation automatically detects your computer... So, you do not need to worry about any product keys...

Since, you are using Genuine Windows you can just click on the validate button and download Windows Defender...

Validation just takes a few seconds and makes the program ready for you to download...

I myself validated my version of Windows and downloaded Windows Defender... It's working fine!

Kidding. MS will blacklist you though, so you can't download any of their halfway-useful stuff.

it will check your system on it's own. you don't need the product key or anything.
