my 9 month old dog was stolen a day before christmas. we love that dog(Golden retriever) so much that we cuddle her every now and then. We treat her like the youngest in the family. And she was my mother's companion in our house. Ever since she was gone, we were always sad, especially my mother. Our other dog, which is our GR's playmate lost appetite and was never as active as before. Everybody in this house generally got so depressed. we grieve so much that we were not able to celebrate christmas season much. Right now, my brother and some other friends are trying to trace where our dog was brought and sold. We recieved an info that our dog was sold to somebody at a very low price. we are almost there with our investigation. if that thief would be caught, what should i do with him?

Please leave it up to the police. They will do what needs to be done. Chances are good that these people are part of a dognapping ring and the police may be able to convict them of not just your dog's theft but of many others. I hope you get your dog back!

Does your dog have a microchip? Collar and tags? Papers? If you find the dog, it should be easy to get it back with the help of the police or even going to court if it comes to that. The people that bought it, probably didn't know it was stolen, so I'm sure they would be more than happy to return it if they know what happened. How do you know it was stolen and sold?? If you catch the thief, you call the police and have them arrested.

realistically I'd press charges, I'd want to murder the person though.
