In this day more people seem to be stoping blind faith and putting more emphasis on love for fellow man, than religious deities.

and btw, i never said i was christian, in fact, im pagan, and love for my fellow brothers and sistersa in humanity comes before my own godds and goddesses.

It depends.
If you want to go to the imaginary "heaven" then love of religion and "god" are more important...
however, if you find love of your fellow man more important, you'll only be a moral, ethical, just, kind, and all around good person.

Jesus told us in the Gospels to Love God and to Love our neighbor as ourselves because in this the whole law is contained.
The Ten Commandments can be broken up like this:
The first 4 Commandments talk about Loving God and the last 6 Commandments talk about loving our neighbor.

I don't think it's an either/or thing. In Christian teaching Jesus makes it clear that you can't claim to love God and hate your neighbor. Also, how better to express our love for God than to show love for others?

To the believer in christ god should should be #1 in your life.God wordtells us to love ye one another but beyond anything else love god with all your heart,all your soul,all your mind,all your spirit.Love god more beyond anything else. Without faith it's impossible to please god,true faith in god isn't blind or misguided,God's pleased by true faith in him.
