huh?! Not everyone is obsessed with yorkies...I have a bloodhound and black lab....

Do you mean "Why are people (are) obsessed with Yorkies?" I suggest you find a class in English as a Second Language (ESL). It will help you speak more clearly so that English speaking people can communicate with you. As for the answer to your question, Yorkies are small and cute and affectionate. I do dog rescue and adoption and many of the people who come to us looking for a dog to adopt are restricted by landlords or covenants as to the size and/or number of dogs they can keep in their homes or apartments. Yorkies, Bichons and other dogs that weigh less than 20 lbs are very popular for that reason.

not all people are obsessed with yorkies.... people have all kinds of different tastes concerning pets.... some people like poodles and i personally dont.... i think that alot of people like them because they are small and cute and a lot of people like to have a small dog they can take everywhere and put in a purse and bag

well i loev all breeds no matter what so w/e! but as far as ppl being obsessed w/ yorkies and chiuahuas is that they r tiny, cute, and al the stars own them! =) i would personally rather have a pit bull. =D

Well people are so obessed with Yorkies because their so cute and friendly!!!!!!!!!! Also they keep you company!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Not me. I love all dogs in general, but my favorite would have to be a basset hound. How can you ever be sad when you have a dog that looks so sad all the time?

I'm not obsessed but I sure am happy I got my little Yorkie.He's a wonderful addition to our family.

They are big dogs in a little package. They are a terrier so they have that tough dog attitude.
And they are awfully cute.
